Twisha Sharma Death Case: Police Say Husband Samarth Tried To Mislead Investigators During Crime Scene Recreation

The investigation into the death of former actor-model Twisha Sharma has taken a new turn after Madhya Pradesh Police claimed that her husband, Samarth Singh, attempted to mislead investigators during the recreation of the crime scene in Bhopal.
According to police officials, Samarth was questioned extensively by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) as investigators recreated the sequence of events linked to Twisha’s death. During the exercise, authorities alleged that he gave confusing and misleading responses, particularly regarding his whereabouts after the incident.
The case relates to the death of 33-year-old Twisha Sharma, who was found hanging at her marital home in Bhopal’s Katara Hills area on May 12. The matter has since triggered widespread attention and allegations of dowry harassment and domestic abuse from her family members.
Meanwhile, the Madhya Pradesh High Court on Monday fast-tracked the legal proceedings connected to the case and scheduled an urgent hearing for May 27 at 2:30 PM.
The investigation is currently being handled by the Central Bureau of Investigation, which recently registered an FIR against Samarth Singh and his mother as part of the ongoing probe.
Authorities continue to examine digital evidence, witness statements and forensic findings as the high-profile case remains under intense public scrutiny.
