Trump Warns Iran To Reach Nuclear Deal As Middle East Tensions Continue

Tensions between the United States and Iran remain high as US President Donald Trump issued a fresh warning to Tehran, saying Iran must agree to a deal or face severe military consequences.

In an interview aired on Fox News during his visit to China, Trump said Iran has two choices — “make a deal or get annihilated.” While stressing that he would prefer a diplomatic solution, Trump also highlighted the strength of the US military and warned that Washington would act aggressively if negotiations failed.

The comments come months after Trump announced large-scale joint US-Israeli military operations targeting Iranian military, government, and infrastructure facilities earlier this year. Although a temporary ceasefire was later introduced, attempts at peace talks between the US and Iran reportedly failed to produce a breakthrough.

Trump claimed that Iran has tried to rebuild some of its military and nuclear-related capabilities since the strikes. He further warned that the US is closely monitoring Iran’s nuclear sites and would respond immediately if Tehran attempted to move enriched uranium from the targeted facilities.

The situation has also sparked political debate inside the United States. A resolution in the US House of Representatives aimed at limiting war powers related to Iran failed after a tied vote, reflecting growing divisions among lawmakers over America’s role in the escalating conflict.

Meanwhile, Trump said Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed support for a peaceful agreement between Washington and Tehran. According to Trump, Xi offered to help mediate and stressed the importance of keeping the Strait of Hormuz open for global trade and oil shipments.

Reports from Iranian media also suggested that several Chinese ships were moving through the Strait of Hormuz in coordination with Iranian authorities, adding another layer of geopolitical attention to the already tense region.

At the same time, regional tensions continue beyond Iran, with the Israeli military reportedly launching new strikes in southern Lebanon amid ongoing security concerns in the Middle East.

The evolving situation has kept global markets and international leaders on alert, as fears grow over the possibility of wider instability in the region if diplomatic efforts fail.
