Over 160 Injured in Iranian Missile Strikes Near Israeli Nuclear Facility

More than 160 people have been injured, some critically, after Iranian missile strikes hit towns in southern Israel near a sensitive nuclear site, according to emergency officials.

The attacks targeted the towns of Arad and Dimona on Saturday evening. Authorities reported that 84 people are receiving treatment in Arad, while another 78 were injured in Dimona after ballistic missiles struck residential areas.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) confirmed that, as of now, there are no reports of damage to the nearby nuclear research facility located roughly 13 km from Dimona.

Iranian state media claimed the strikes were carried out in retaliation for an earlier attack on the Natanz nuclear facility in Iran.

Meanwhile, tensions remain high as further attacks were reported on Sunday, with at least seven people injured in a missile strike on Tel Aviv. The situation continues to escalate, raising concerns over regional stability and civilian safety.
