Khan Sir to Seek Anticipatory Bail After Being Named in Patna Vandalism Case

Patna: Popular educator and YouTuber Khan Sir, whose real name is Faisal Khan, is set to approach a Patna court for anticipatory bail after being named in an FIR related to a vandalism incident at his coaching institute.
According to his lawyer, Advocate Arvind Kumar Mahuar, the case against Khan Sir is an attempt to tarnish his reputation and has been filed as part of a larger conspiracy to defame him.
The controversy stems from an incident that took place earlier this week at the Khan Global Studies Institute in Patna. A group of around 15 to 20 individuals allegedly removed posters from the coaching centre and pelted stones at the premises, causing damage and creating panic among students and staff.
Following the incident, police detained two security guards employed at the institute for allegedly firing shots during the disturbance. Investigators later named Khan Sir in the FIR, prompting the educator to seek legal protection.
Defending his client, Mahuar argued that Khan Sir had no direct involvement in the incident and claimed the FIR was filed in retaliation after the institute’s staff lodged a complaint against the director of another coaching centre.
The lawyer further stated that available videos and photographs suggest the security guards fired warning shots into the air for safety reasons during the attack and that no one was injured. He also alleged that Khan Sir’s name was included in statements solely to implicate him in the case.
Khan Sir is expected to file his anticipatory bail plea once court proceedings resume. Meanwhile, police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the vandalism and the alleged firing incident.
The case has attracted widespread attention due to Khan Sir’s immense popularity among students across India, with many closely following developments in the legal proceedings.
