BSNL Revenue Crosses ₹25,000 Crore As State-Run Telecom Firm Sees Strong Growth

State-owned telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has reported a major financial turnaround, with its revenue rising to ₹25,000 crore over the last two years, according to Union Minister of State for Communications Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani.
The minister said BSNL’s revenue has increased from around ₹21,000 crore, marking a growth of nearly 20 to 25 percent during the period. The company also witnessed a sharp improvement in its EBITDA margins, which reportedly jumped from just ₹50 crore to nearly ₹7,000 crore.
The development is being seen as a significant boost for the government-run telecom operator, which has been working to strengthen its network, expand services and improve financial stability amid intense competition from private telecom companies.
Officials from the Ministry of Communications said the growth reflects ongoing reforms and operational improvements within BSNL. The company has also been focusing on expanding 4G services and improving digital connectivity across different parts of the country.
