Actress Kirti Kulhari Becomes Victim of Credit Card Scam, Fraudsters Steal Over ₹2.44 Lakh Through Foreign Transactions
Mumbai : Bollywood actress Kirti Kulhari has reportedly fallen victim to a cyber fraud after criminals allegedly misused her credit card details and carried out unauthorised foreign transactions worth around ₹2.44 lakh. Following her complaint, Mumbai Police have registered a case against unknown individuals and launched an investigation into the matter.
According to reports, the incident came to light on the night of July 24 when Kulhari was travelling to a multiplex in Andheri West. During her journey, she received an alert from her bank regarding a suspicious transaction of $2,525 made to Aeromexico Airlines using her credit card.
The actress immediately contacted her bank’s customer care service. After checking her account activity, bank officials discovered that four separate unauthorised transactions had been made using her card. The bank quickly blocked the credit card to prevent any further misuse.
