Udhayanidhi Stalin Attacks Vijay Government Over Rising Crime In Tamil Nadu

Udhayanidhi Stalin has strongly criticised the Tamil Nadu government led by Chief Minister Joseph Vijay, accusing it of failing to control the worsening law and order situation in the state.
The DMK leader claimed that Tamil Nadu witnessed 25 murders, four double murders and 19 crimes against women and children within just the last two weeks. Raising concerns over public safety, he alleged that the government had failed to provide adequate protection to citizens.
In a detailed post shared on social media platform X, Udhayanidhi Stalin took a sharp swipe at the ruling administration, saying the promises of “change” made before the Assembly elections are now being overshadowed by increasing incidents of violence and crime across the state.
He further accused the government of not taking effective action to curb criminal activities and questioned its handling of women’s safety and law enforcement.
The remarks have intensified the ongoing political confrontation between the ruling government and the opposition in Tamil Nadu, with crime and public safety emerging as major political issues in the state.
