Re-NEET 2026 Results Declared: Over 11.21 Lakh Qualify, Women Outshine Men in Success Rate
New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the Re-NEET UG 2026 results, bringing relief to nearly 20 lakh medical aspirants across the country. According to the official figures, 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for admission to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and other undergraduate medical programmes.
One of the biggest highlights of this year’s results is the outstanding performance of female candidates. Women accounted for more than 58% of all qualified candidates, continuing their strong presence in India’s largest medical entrance examination.
Women Continue to Lead
The official data released by the NTA shows that female candidates outperformed their male counterparts in the examination. Around 56.8% of women who appeared for Re-NEET qualified, compared to 55.1% of male candidates, reflecting the growing success and participation of women in medical education.

The highest score of 715 out of 720 was jointly achieved by Aryan Gupta from Punjab and Panshul Bansal from Haryana.
The agency also revealed that over 93% of the candidates who scored above 690 marks were first-time NEET aspirants, underlining the impressive performance of fresh candidates.
Counselling Process to Begin
With the declaration of results, the admission process will now move to the counselling stage.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct counselling for All India Quota MBBS and BDS seats, while respective state counselling authorities will oversee admissions under state quotas.
NTA has advised candidates to download their scorecards only from the official NEET website and remain alert against fraudulent calls, messages or fake admission offers. Aspirants have also been urged to rely solely on official counselling portals for updates regarding seat allotment and admission schedules.
