NEET-UG 2026 Cancelled After Paper Leak Allegations, Fresh Exam to Be Held Soon

National Testing Agency has cancelled the NEET-UG 2026 examination that was conducted on May 3, 2026, following allegations of a paper leak. A fresh exam will now be organised, with new dates to be announced soon.

The decision was taken after inputs reviewed by the agency in coordination with central authorities and findings shared by law enforcement agencies. Officials said the move was made to maintain transparency and fairness in the examination process.

According to the NTA, the revised examination schedule and fresh admit card release dates will be shared through its official communication channels in the coming days.

The controversy began after claims surfaced that a “guess paper” was circulated before the exam and contained several questions similar to those asked in the actual test.

Rajasthan Special Operations Group is currently investigating the matter. Officials are examining whether the circulation of the material was part of an organised racket.

The cancellation has impacted lakhs of medical aspirants across India, who are now waiting for the new examination dates and further updates.
