Mumbai Crime Branch Arrests Key Accused In Byculla Firing Case Linked To Alleged D-Company Associate’s Son

The Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested the main accused in the high-profile Byculla firing case connected to an attack on the son of an alleged D-Company associate.
Police identified the accused as Saif Mastan, who was arrested from West Bengal after reportedly remaining on the run for several days following the incident.
The firing case is linked to an attack on Sameer Mohammad Asif Khan, the son of alleged gangster Asif Sheikh, who is believed to have links with the D-Company network. According to investigators, the attack was allegedly triggered by a financial dispute.
Earlier, within 24 hours of the firing incident on May 13, the Crime Branch had already arrested two other suspects from the Mahim area of Mumbai. The accused were identified as Zeeshan Anwar Sheikh and Sadik Sheikh Liyakat Sheikh.
