India And Sweden Strengthen Ties With Focus On AI, Defence And Green Future

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson held important bilateral talks in Gothenburg, marking a major step forward in relations between India and Sweden.
During the meeting, both countries upgraded their relationship to a “Strategic Partnership”, aiming to boost cooperation in key sectors such as artificial intelligence, defence, innovation, clean energy and green transition.
The leaders also discussed expanding trade, technology partnerships and investment opportunities between India and Europe, highlighting the growing importance of global collaboration in emerging industries.
