Akasa Air Flight Hit By Bird, Lands Safely In Delhi – All Passengers Safe

An Akasa Air flight traveling from Pune to Delhi had a mid-air scare on Friday when the aircraft was struck by a bird. Despite the incident, the pilots safely landed the Boeing 737 MAX 8 in the national capital shortly after 10 am.

According to the airline, everyone on board — passengers and crew — deplaned without any issues. The number of passengers hasn’t been shared yet.

The aircraft has been taken in for a complete inspection by the airline’s engineering team. It will only return to service after all checks are completed.

The same plane was originally scheduled to fly from Delhi to Goa, but the flight was delayed by a few hours while Akasa Air arranged another aircraft for the route.

A spokesperson for the airline confirmed the situation and emphasized that safety procedures were followed promptly and passengers were not put at risk.
