UGC NET June 2026 Aspirants Await City Slip as Exam Preparations Enter Final Phase

Candidates preparing for the UGC NET June 2026 examination are eagerly awaiting the release of the Exam City Intimation Slip, which is scheduled to be issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on June 10.

Once released, applicants can download their city intimation slips from the official UGC NET website. The slip will inform candidates about the city where their examination centre has been allotted, helping them make travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance.

The UGC NET June 2026 examination is set to be conducted from June 22 to June 30 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across various centres in the country.

The examination will consist of two papers. Paper I will contain 50 questions carrying 100 marks and will assess candidates’ teaching and research aptitude, reasoning ability, reading comprehension, general awareness, and analytical skills.

Paper II will include 100 questions carrying 200 marks and will focus on the subject chosen by the candidate, testing their domain-specific knowledge. Except for language papers, the question paper will be available in both English and Hindi.

Candidates can access their city intimation slips by visiting the official website, logging in with their credentials, and downloading the document for future reference. The admit cards are expected to be released separately closer to the examination date.
