Porn Video Interrupts UP District Education Meeting, Shocking Participants
What was meant to be a serious discussion on improving schools in Uttar Pradesh’s Maharajganj district took an unexpected and disturbing turn when a pornographic video was played in the middle of the meeting.
The online ‘e-Chaupal’, held on August 7 and chaired by District Magistrate Santosh Kumar Sharma, brought together block education officers, headmasters, teachers, journalists, and community members to address issues like poor infrastructure and staff shortages in local schools. But the constructive discussion was abruptly derailed when a participant logged in under the name ‘Jason Jr’, shared his screen, and began playing the explicit video — leaving many attendees shocked and uncomfortable.
The meeting was immediately cut short. Two days later, Block Education Officer Sudama Prasad filed a formal police complaint.
Sadar Kotwali SHO Satyendra Rai confirmed on Monday that cyber police are involved in tracking down the culprit. “The accused are being identified through technical means, and action will be taken soon,” he said.
