Iran Warns of Further Retaliation if US Escalates After Qatar Base Strike

Tehran:
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has warned the United States of potential further retaliation following Tehran’s missile strike on the Al Udeid US military base in Qatar. The statement, shared via the Iranian Foreign Ministry’s official Telegram account on Monday, declared that the strike was a direct response to what Iran described as “aggression against its territorial integrity and sovereignty” by the US.
Araqchi stated that Iran remains prepared to respond again if the United States takes any additional hostile actions.
“Any further provocation or aggression by the United States will be met with a strong and immediate response,” the statement read.
The warning follows a significant escalation in regional tensions after Iran’s Operation Besharat Fatah, in which missiles targeted one of America’s most strategic military installations in the Middle East.
