The engagement will happen, but it hasn’t happened yet,” he told ANI at the time.
Rinku Singh, 27, had a modest IPL 2025 season, scoring 206 runs for KKR at an average of 29.42 and a strike rate of 153.73. The team struggled overall, finishing eighth in the standings with just five wins from 14 matches.
Despite a quiet IPL, Rinku remains a crucial part of India’s T20I squad. In 30 matches, he has scored 507 runs at an impressive average of 46.09 and a fiery strike rate of 165.14, including three fifties. He made his T20I debut against Ireland in 2023 and is still chasing his maiden international century.
