Hospital Executive Shot Dead in Her Office Cabin in Patna, Police Investigating Motive

In a shocking incident, the director of a private hospital in Patna was shot multiple times inside her office cabin on Saturday afternoon. The victim, identified as Surabhi Raj, director of Asia Hospital near Dhanki Mor in the Agamkuan police station area, was found in a pool of blood by hospital staff. Despite being rushed to AIIMS Patna, she succumbed to her injuries.

Police were alerted about the incident around 4:30 PM and have since launched a thorough investigation. As of now, the identity of the attacker and the motive behind the killing remain unclear.

According to hospital staff, at least five bullet shell casings were found at the scene. A training session had been conducted at the hospital between 2:30 and 3:30 PM by two visiting doctors. After the session, the trainers left, and staff members were still present when they suddenly became aware of an unusual noise. Upon checking, they found Surabhi Raj critically wounded in her office. Strangely, some staff members reported that no gunshots were heard during the attack.

A police team, forensic experts, and a dog squad were quickly dispatched to the scene. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage for leads. The hospital has not yet released an official statement on the tragic incident.
