Republic Day 2025: Flight Operations at Delhi Airport Restricted Until January 26

In preparation for Republic Day celebrations, flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) will face temporary restrictions until January 26. The airport operator, Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL), announced that no flights will arrive or depart between 10:20 AM and 12:45 PM IST from January 19 to January 26.

IGIA, the nation’s busiest airport, handles approximately 1,300 flights daily. Passengers are advised to check with their airlines for updated schedules, as the impact on previously planned flights is yet to be fully determined.

The restrictions, issued through a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), are part of the security arrangements for Republic Day. Travelers are encouraged to stay informed to avoid inconvenience.
