UP Law Student Dies By Suicide, Cops Find “I Quit” Written On Mirror With Lipstick

In a deeply tragic incident from Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, a 23-year-old law student, Danish Ara, died by suicide, leaving behind a heart-wrenching message — “I quit” — written on a mirror with lipstick.

Danish, who was pursuing an LLB degree, had reportedly developed a relationship with a dental doctor named Asad. The two met around four to five months ago during her medical treatment and grew close over time. According to her family, Asad had promised to marry her but later got engaged to another woman, leaving Danish devastated.

Her family has also alleged that Asad and his relatives took her to their home, where she was mistreated and mentally tortured. Soon after returning, Danish took the extreme step.

Local police, led by Circle Officer Laxmikant Gautam, have begun an investigation. “We reached the spot as soon as we received the information and have sent the body for post-mortem. The case is under thorough investigation,” he said.

The incident has sparked outrage and sorrow, raising serious concerns about emotional abuse, trust, and the vulnerability of young women in relationships.
