TV Actor Nitin Chauhaan Passes Away at 35; Co-stars Mourn: “Wish You Were Mentally Strong”

Television actor Nitin Chauhaan, best known for winning the reality show Dadagiri 2, tragically passed away at the age of 35 in Mumbai on Thursday.

Co-stars Sudeep Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh from Tera Yaar Hoon Main confirmed the news but expressed that they were unaware of the details surrounding his death. Actress Vibhuti Thakur shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, posting a black-and-white picture with Nitin and writing, “Rest in peace my dear… really shocked and sad… wish you had the strength to face all the troubles… wish you were mentally strong like your body.”

No Financial Struggles Involved

Amid circulating rumors that Nitin might have been facing financial difficulties, his close friend Kuldeep clarified to Times of India that this was not the case. “He never mentioned anything about financial troubles. We shared everything with each other. I just wish he had reached out to me; I would have stopped him,” Kuldeep said, expressing his deep regret.

Originally from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, Nitin made his acting debut in 2009 with Dadagiri 2, where he emerged as the winner. He later appeared in several popular shows including MTV Splitsvilla 5, Zindagi Dot Com, Crime Patrol, Friends: Conditions Apply, Gumrah: End Of Innocence, Supercops VS Supervillains, and Savdhaan India. His last on-screen appearance was in the TV series Tera Yaar Hoon Main in 2022.
