Tritiyaa Jewellery Co-Founder Caught in Massive Fraud & Forgery Scandal

Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police have arrested 24-year-old Kanthidutt Thonangi, co-founder of Tritiyaa Fine Jewellery, for orchestrating a shocking fraud involving forgery, financial deception, and betrayal of trust.
Fraudulent Takeover: Business Partner Cheated and Illegally Removed
Tippala Srija, who co-founded Tritiyaa Fine Jewellers Private Limited with Kanthidutt in June 2023, has accused him of fraudulently removing her from the company. In August 2023, she invested ₹2.5 crore to expand the business, only to later discover that Kanthidutt had forged her signature on a resignation letter and submitted it to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs without her knowledge.
To make matters worse, he allegedly staged a fake board meeting on the same day—without informing her—and “approved” her resignation, effectively kicking her out of the company. Realizing something was amiss, Srija filed an RTI and uncovered fraudulent copies of her resignation letter and board resolution. She stated, “It’s clear that my signature was forged, and a board meeting could not have happened that quickly.”
Criminal Past: Multiple Cases Including a Fatal Hit-and-Run
Kanthidutt’s criminal history extends far beyond this case. Police records show he has four cases against him, including a fatal hit-and-run, in the Cyberabad and Hyderabad commissionerates. He is also linked to Dakshin Katha Hospitality and Naomi Patisserie & Bistro, businesses now under investigation.
In another alarming case, businessmen Cilarapu Ramchander and Praveen Kumar have accused him of swindling ₹6 crore. They claim he convinced them to invest in his businesses but later dodged their inquiries and even resorted to abusive behavior when confronted.
With mounting fraud allegations, the police have arrested Kanthidutt and placed him under 14-day judicial custody.
