Tritiyaa Jewellery Co-Founder Arrested for Fraud and Forgery

Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police have arrested 24-year-old Kanthidutt Thonangi, co-founder of Tritiyaa Fine Jewellery, on charges of fraud, forgery, and criminal breach of trust.
Co-Founder Accused of Fraudulently Removing Partner
Tippala Srija, who co-founded Tritiyaa Fine Jewellers Private Limited with Kanthidutt in June 2023, alleged that he illegally removed her from the company. In August 2023, while planning to expand the business, she invested ₹2.5 crore. However, she later discovered that Kanthidutt had allegedly forged her signature on a resignation letter and submitted it to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs without her consent.
On the same day, he reportedly held a board meeting—without notifying her—and “approved” her resignation, effectively pushing her out of the company. Suspicious of the proceedings, Srija filed an RTI and obtained fabricated copies of her resignation letter and board resolution. She accused Kanthidutt of deception, saying, “It’s evident that my signature was forged, and a board meeting couldn’t have taken place on the same day.”
Linked to Multiple Fraud Cases
This is not the only allegation against Kanthidutt. Police reports state that he has four cases registered against him, including a fatal hit-and-run, in the Cyberabad and Hyderabad commissionerates. He is also a director at Dakshin Katha Hospitality and Naomi Patisserie & Bistro.
In another case, businessmen Cilarapu Ramchander and Praveen Kumar accused him of defrauding them of ₹6 crore. They claim he convinced them to invest in his businesses but later avoided their inquiries and used abusive language when confronted.
Following multiple complaints, police arrested Kanthidutt and placed him under 14-day judicial remand.
