Rave Party Busted In Telangana: 22 Minors Among 65 Detained

Hyderabad:
In a major crackdown on drug-related activities, the Rajendranagar Special Operations Team (SOT) police busted a rave party at a farmhouse in Moinabad, Telangana. A total of 65 individuals, including 22 minors, were detained during the raid.
The illegal gathering, dubbed a “Trap House Party”, took place at Oaks Farmhouse and was allegedly promoted on Instagram. Police said the event was being advertised with the promise of “an experience of joy you’ve never had in your life,” with entry tickets priced at ₹1,600 for singles and ₹2,800 for couples.
Upon raiding the venue, authorities found the attendees consuming intoxicants. Blood tests later confirmed that two individuals had consumed ganja (marijuana). One of them, Ishaan, was identified as the organiser — a second-year private college student whose father lives in Canada. The other consumer was a minor, whose identity remains undisclosed.
Officials seized 10 bottles of foreign liquor from the premises. The event was allegedly managed by a Hyderabad-based DJ running the Instagram handle “Trap House.9MM”.
Police said the event lacked proper permissions and violated multiple laws. A case has been registered under Section 27 of the NDPS Act, along with charges for organising a paid event without official approval.
