“Master’s Degree In Corruption”: Amit Shah Jabs MK Stalin Over Centre Funds

Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu: Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a sharp attack on the ruling DMK government on Wednesday, accusing its leaders of corruption and misgovernance. Speaking at the inauguration of BJP district offices in Coimbatore, Tiruvannamalai, and Ramanathapuram, Shah claimed that DMK leaders were deeply entangled in corruption cases, including cash-for-jobs scams, money laundering, and illegal sand mining.
“Master’s Degree in Corruption” – Amit Shah’s Criticism of DMK
Mocking the party’s alleged corruption, Shah remarked, “It seems like every DMK leader holds a master’s degree in corruption.” He further accused the government of misleading the public by claiming that Tamil Nadu was denied central funds.
“There is no truth in MK Stalin’s statement,” he said. “The Modi government has provided Rs 5 lakh crore to Tamil Nadu in the last five years. If any injustice was done, it was during the UPA regime, not under the NDA.”
Shah also ridiculed the DMK by suggesting that the party’s doors were wide open for corrupt individuals. “Sometimes it feels like DMK has a special membership drive just for the corrupt,” he quipped.
BJP’s Vision for Tamil Nadu in 2026
Confident about the BJP’s future in the state, Shah declared that the party would establish a National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in Tamil Nadu in 2026.
“Get ready for a new era in Tamil Nadu. We will put an end to nepotism and eradicate corruption. Those involved in anti-India activities will have no place in the state,” he asserted.
With the upcoming elections in sight, the BJP is intensifying its campaign in Tamil Nadu, aiming to break the DMK’s dominance and position itself as a strong contender in the state’s political landscape.
