Lawrence Bishnoi Gang’s Plot to Kill Baba Siddique and Son Zeeshan Uncovered: Shooter Reveals Chilling Details
In a disturbing revelation, investigations have confirmed that both senior NCP leader Baba Siddique and his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique were targeted by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. So far, a total of 23 arrests have been made in connection with the case.
On Monday, police detained five individuals, including the main shooter, Shiv Kumar Gautam, for Baba Siddique’s murder. During interrogation, Gautam disclosed that he was instructed to eliminate either Baba Siddique or his son, based on who he encountered first. These orders reportedly came from Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of the incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The shocking incident occurred on October 12, when Baba Siddique was shot dead by three gunmen near Zeeshan’s office in Mumbai. The ongoing investigation by the Mumbai Crime Branch has further revealed that the gang had plans to target another political figure in Pune. Authorities discovered a firearm intended for this next assassination, prompting an active investigation in collaboration with Pune officials.
Additional arrests shed light on a backup plan orchestrated by the gang. Shooter Gaurav Vilas Apune, detained last Friday, had traveled to Jharkhand with weapons in late July to undergo firing practice. Accompanied by Rupesh Mohol, who was previously taken into custody, Apune had been preparing under the direction of mastermind Shubham Lonkar. After their training session, they returned to Pune to continue coordinating with Lonkar.
The case has exposed the depth of the gang’s criminal operations, with authorities still piecing together details to prevent further planned attacks.
