Kia Unveils Upgraded EV6 Electric SUV at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025; Bookings Now Open

South Korean automotive giant Kia showcased the new and improved version of its electric SUV, the EV6, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi on Friday. The upgraded model boasts significant enhancements in design, features, and performance, marking a major leap forward in Kia’s commitment to sustainable mobility.
The refreshed EV6 features a sleeker, sportier front-end design, complete with new Star Map lighting, a GT-Line bumper, and striking 19-inch alloy wheels. Equipped with an 84-kWh battery, the EV6 now offers an impressive range of over 650 km—an upgrade from the previous model’s 77.4 kWh capacity. The vehicle also supports a 350-kW fast charger, enabling a rapid 10 to 80 percent charge in just 18 minutes.
Gwanggu Lee, Kia India MD and CEO, shared his enthusiasm for the launch, stating, “We are proud to unveil the new EV6, a key step in our journey towards carbon neutrality. With it, we are taking a bold stride in offering environmentally conscious, next-generation technology to Indian consumers.”
While bookings for the EV6 are now open, the price will be announced in May 2025, adding to the anticipation for this cutting-edge electric SUV.
