Karan Adani Named Business Leader of the Year at 2026 AIMA Managing India Awards

In an evening that celebrated ambition, resilience and leadership, Karan Adani was named Business Leader of the Year at the 2026 Managing India Awards hosted by the All India Management Association (AIMA).

The event, held at the Taj Palace Hotel, marked AIMA’s Platinum Jubilee — 70 years since its founding — along with the 20th National Management Day. Industry leaders, policymakers and entrepreneurs gathered to discuss how India can sustain its economic momentum in a challenging global environment.

A Leader Who Shared the Spotlight

Currently serving as Managing Director of Adani Ports & SEZ Ltd and Adani Cement Ltd, Karan Adani used the moment not to focus on personal achievement, but to recognise the people around him.

Accepting the award, he dedicated it to the employees of the Adani Group, acknowledging their tireless efforts.

He also spoke warmly about his family — thanking his father for being a constant source of guidance and inspiration, his mother for instilling values of compassion and honesty, and his brothers for working together to carry forward their shared vision. He credited his wife and daughter for their unwavering support and for helping him grow both as a leader and as a person.

The award citation was presented by Sanjay Kirloskar, Chairman and Managing Director of Kirloskar Brothers Ltd.
