“Hera Pheri Without Babu Bhaiya?”: Paresh Rawal Confirms Exit, Fans & Co-Stars Heartbroken

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal has officially stepped away from the much-loved Hera Pheri 3, leaving fans shocked and co-stars visibly upset. The actor, who immortalised the role of Baburao Ganpatrao Apte (Babu Bhaiya), responded to a fan pleading with him to reconsider, saying, “NO… There are three heroes in Hera Pheri.”
His statement has fueled speculation and concern, especially after reports emerged of Akshay Kumar possibly taking legal action over Rawal’s sudden departure. Addressing the matter publicly, Rawal said, “My lawyer, Ameet Naik, has sent an appropriate response regarding my rightful termination and exit.”
Dispelling rumours of creative conflicts, the actor clarified: “I REITERATE THAT THERE ARE NO CREATIVE DISAGREEMENTS WITH THE FILMMAKER. I have immense love and respect for Mr. Priyadarshan, the film’s director.”
Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty, who plays Shyam in the series, expressed his deep disappointment. “Completely heartbroken,” he told ANI, “It cannot happen without Paresh Rawal. The soul of the film is Babu Bhaiya. Raju and Shyam being hammered by Babu is what makes Hera Pheri.”
As anticipation for Hera Pheri 3 continues, fans and film lovers are now left wondering whether the magic can ever be recreated without its most iconic character.
