Gurugram Road Rage: Four Arrested After Violent Clash With Bikers on Dwarka Expressway

What started as a heated exchange on Gurugram’s Dwarka Expressway turned violent, leading to the arrest of four men who allegedly attacked a group of bikers and vandalised a high-end motorcycle.

The incident took place on Sunday when the accused, travelling in a car, got into a scuffle with several bikers. As tempers flared, the situation escalated dramatically—resulting in physical assault and damage to property. One of the bikes, a premium sports model, was smashed with a baseball bat, causing damages estimated between Rs 4 to 5 lakh.

Hardik Sharma, one of the bikers and the complainant in the case, said the attackers appeared drunk and assaulted his friends Gaurav and Abhinav before turning on him. “They hit me on the head with a baseball bat and destroyed my bike. My helmet saved my life,” he said.

All four accused were taken into custody on Tuesday. A senior police official confirmed their arrest but noted that investigations are still underway to determine if they were under the influence of alcohol at the time.

As the probe continues, the bikers are demanding compensation for the damages and strict action against the culprits. The incident has raised concerns over rising instances of road rage and safety on busy highways like the Dwarka Expressway.
