Disguised as a Delivery Boy, 22-Year-Old Carried Guns Instead of Food

What looked like just another food delivery rider on the road turned out to be a front for something far more dangerous.

In Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar, 22-year-old Sudhanshu was arrested by police near the Jamalpur canal culvert while allegedly trying to speed past a routine checkpoint. When officers stopped and searched him, they found ten country-made pistols and several cartridges hidden in his delivery bag.

Sudhanshu later confessed he had been posing as a delivery agent for a popular food aggregator in Haryana’s Karnal, but instead of food orders, he was transporting illegal arms across Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut.

Muzaffarnagar SSP Sanjay Kumar Verma said the young man is now under interrogation, and efforts are on to track both the suppliers of the weapons and those who were meant to receive them.

What seemed like just another young man hustling for a living turned out to be part of a worrying arms network hiding in plain sight.
