Brother Kills Man With Birthday Cake Knife For Harassing Sister In Madhya Pradesh

Guna (Madhya Pradesh):
A 21-year-old man allegedly killed a youth with a knife originally used at his sister’s birthday celebration, after accusing him of harassing her, police said on Saturday.

The accused, Abhishek Tinga, along with his friends, fatally attacked Anil, who had reportedly been making inappropriate advances toward his sister and pressuring her to marry him with promises of gold and silver jewellery.

Police said the woman had complained to her brother about the harassment, following which Abhishek plotted revenge. He and his friends even ordered five knives online to execute their plan and tracked Anil’s movements.

On Friday night, after learning Anil was drinking in the area, Abhishek and his group confronted him. They surrounded the victim and attacked him with the same knife his sister had used to cut her birthday cake.

“The weapon of celebration turned into a weapon of murder,” Superintendent of Police Ankit Soni said, adding that the accused fled the spot after the crime.
