Bentley Officially Enters Indian Market Under Skoda Auto Volkswagen India

Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) has officially announced the inclusion of Bentley, the iconic British luxury car manufacturer, as the sixth brand under its corporate umbrella. Effective July 1, 2025, SAVWIPL will take over the exclusive rights to import, distribute, and service Bentley vehicles across India, marking the brand’s formal entry into the country after years of being represented by a private importer.
All marketing, sales, and after-sales operations will now be managed by a newly established entity, Bentley India, a subsidiary of SAVWIPL. The new entity will steer Bentley’s retail and expansion strategy in India. Abbey Thomas has been appointed as the Brand Director for Bentley India and will lead the marque’s operations and growth in the country.
Initially, three new dealerships will be established in key cities—Bengaluru and Mumbai, with New Delhi to follow. These showrooms aim to offer India’s ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs) access to Bentley’s signature blend of luxury, performance, and artisanal craftsmanship.
