Aamir Khan’s Girlfriend Gauri Spratt on Why She Fell in Love with Him: “He Brings Me Peace”

Aamir Khan’s love life is making headlines once again after he introduced his girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, to the media during a pre-birthday meet-and-greet on March 13. Gauri, who hails from Bengaluru, is currently working with Aamir’s production house but has never been a Bollywood buff. In fact, she has only watched two of his films—Dil Chahta Hai and Lagaan.

At the media interaction, Gauri shared what drew her to Aamir. “I wanted someone who is kind, a gentleman, and just caring,” she said. Aamir, with his signature humor, responded, “And after all that, you found me?”

Their love story dates back 25 years, though they were not in touch for a long time. It was only two years ago that they reconnected and found love. Aamir expressed, “I was looking for someone I could be calm with, someone who brings me peace. And then, there she was.”

Unlike most people in his life, Gauri doesn’t see Aamir as a superstar but simply as a partner. “She grew up in Bangalore, exposed to different kinds of films and arts, so she never really followed Hindi cinema,” Aamir explained. He added that he hopes she will watch Taare Zameen Par soon.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Gauri studied at Blue Mountain School and pursued a fashion course at the University of the Arts, London. She currently runs a BBlunt salon in Mumbai and, as per reports, is also a mother to a six-year-old child.

Recently, Aamir introduced Gauri to his children, family, and close friends, including Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The two superstars reportedly visited Aamir’s house on March 12 to meet Gauri, marking a special moment in their relationship.
