Oil Tanker Explodes After Collision in Uttar Pradesh’s Kaushambi, Massive Fire Caught on Camera

A major accident triggered a massive fire in Kaushambi, Uttar Pradesh, after an oil tanker collided with an electric pole and exploded on a national highway, officials said.
According to preliminary reports, the tanker was transporting oil from Kanpur to Prayagraj when the crash occurred. The impact caused the vehicle to overturn, sparking an intense blaze that quickly engulfed the tanker.
Videos circulating on social media show towering flames and thick plumes of smoke rising from the wreckage, with the vehicle almost completely destroyed by the fire.
Personnel from the local police and fire brigade, including teams from the Saini police station, rushed to the spot and began firefighting operations to bring the flames under control.
Authorities said that, so far, no casualties have been reported, though the tanker was reduced to a charred shell. Officials remain at the site as cooling operations continue and the exact cause of the accident is being investigated.
