Mercedes-Benz Launches EQS 580 4MATIC Celebration Edition in India at ₹1.30 Crore
Mercedes-Benz has introduced a special ‘Celebration Edition’ of its flagship electric sedan, the EQS 580 4MATIC, in India. Priced at ₹1.30 crore (ex-showroom), this limited-edition model commemorates the brand’s growing footprint in India’s luxury EV segment. Only 50 units will be available, underscoring its exclusivity.
The EQS 580 Celebration Edition focuses on elevated rear-seat comfort. It comes equipped with the Rear Seat Comfort Package, which features Multi Contour Rear Seats, complete with massage functionality and lumbar support. Passengers are further pampered with Executive Seats that recline up to 38 degrees and the Chauffeur Package, allowing the front passenger seat to tilt forward electronically to maximize rear legroom. The interior is finished in rich Nappa leather and includes designer belt buckles, enhancing its luxury appeal.
On the tech front, the sedan boasts MBUX Augmented Reality Navigation, which overlays live visuals to improve on-road navigation. Thanks to its cutting-edge aerodynamic design, the EV offers a segment-leading range of over 800 km on a single charge—currently the highest for any EV sold in India.
In parallel with the launch, Mercedes-Benz has been expanding its luxury network in India. The automaker recently opened 11 new high-end touchpoints in 2025, including premium showrooms in Jammu, Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai. Mercedes plans to open 19 additional luxury outlets in the next five months, extending its presence to tier-2 cities such as Kanpur, Patna, Varanasi, Udaipur, and Bhopal, making the Mercedes-Benz luxury experience more accessible across India.
