Russian Airstrike Damages Boeing Facility in Kyiv: Report

A building utilized by U.S. aerospace giant Boeing in Kyiv sustained significant damage during a recent large-scale Russian air assault, according to a report by the Financial Times, which cited six sources familiar with the incident and supporting photographic evidence.
The attack occurred as part of a wider Russian aerial offensive last week, which involved the deployment of 315 drones and seven missiles across Kyiv and other regions, Ukraine’s Air Force confirmed on Tuesday.
Sources, including two Boeing employees, three Ukrainian officials, and the head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine, told the Financial Times that Boeing’s premises in the capital were among the locations struck on Sunday night.
Despite the damage, Boeing’s deputy general director in Ukraine, Andriy Koryagin, stated there had been “no operational disruption.” The company continues to prioritize the safety and security of its staff, and no injuries were reported among its personnel.
A separate Boeing spokesperson declined to elaborate on the incident when approached by the Financial Times, reiterating only the company’s commitment to employee welfare.
Boeing employs over 1,000 people across Ukraine, according to the report.
Reuters noted that it was unable to independently verify the Financial Times story and that both Boeing and the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine had yet to respond to requests for comment.
