Tata Harrier EV Set to Launch on June 3: Here’s What You Can Expect

Tata Motors has officially confirmed the launch date for its much-anticipated electric SUV—the Tata Harrier EV. The debut is scheduled for June 3, 2025, marking a significant step in Tata’s expanding EV lineup.
We first got a glimpse of the Harrier EV’s exterior design at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, and while some details remain under wraps, the buzz around the launch is growing.
Built on Tata’s trusted Omega platform—the same foundation used for the ICE-powered Harrier—the EV version comes with key structural tweaks to accommodate its electric drivetrain. These changes include a revised chassis and floor design to house the battery and electrical components. Tata refers to this setup as its Acti.ev (Gen 2) architecture.
While official technical specs are yet to be released, it’s expected that the Harrier EV will feature an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, thanks to the addition of a rear axle-mounted motor. It’s also likely to sport a larger battery pack than the Curvv.ev and could generate around 500 Nm of torque, offering a powerful and responsive drive.
In terms of design, the Harrier EV closely mirrors its diesel counterpart. Key highlights include vertical LED headlamps, blade-style DRLs, a floating roofline, and stacked LED fog lamps at the rear. However, Tata has added a few distinct touches to emphasize its electric identity—such as a chrome-accented air dam, silver body cladding, and .EV and HARRIER.EV badges. Expect wheel options ranging from 17 to 19 inches.
Inside, the cabin layout remains familiar, borrowing heavily from the ICE Harrier. Features include a floating touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, a four-spoke steering wheel, dual-tone dashboard, touch-based HVAC controls, and a panoramic sunroof.
With bold styling, promising performance, and premium features, the Tata Harrier EV is shaping up to be one of the most exciting electric SUV launches in 2025. All eyes will be on June 3 as Tata takes the wraps off this next-gen EV.
