Indian Tech Entrepreneur Kills Wife and Son Before Taking His Own Life in Shocking Incident in the US

In a tragic turn of events, an Indian tech entrepreneur allegedly shot and killed his wife and one of his sons before taking his own life in Newcastle, Washington, on April 24. The deceased have been identified as 57-year-old Harshavardhana S Kikkeri, his 44-year-old wife Shwetha Panyam, and their 14-year-old son. Another son survived the incident as he was not at home at the time.

Harshavardhana S Kikkeri, originally from KR Pet Taluk in Mandya district, was the founder and CEO of HoloWorld, a robotics company based in Mysuru, India. He co-founded the company with his wife in 2017. After the business folded in 2022 due to the pandemic, Kikkeri returned to the United States. Known for his expertise in robotics, Kikkeri had even met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss the use of robots in border security. Prior to founding HoloWorld, Kikkeri had worked for Microsoft.
