“PM Modi Empowers Forces with Full Freedom to Respond After Pahalgam Terror Attack”

In the wake of the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has granted India’s armed forces full operational freedom to respond with force, timing, and precision of their choosing. This crucial decision came during a high-level meeting late Tuesday night with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, and Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan.
Sources say the Prime Minister reaffirmed India’s firm resolve to deal a crushing blow to terrorism, expressing full faith in the military’s capabilities and judgment. His message comes as India prepares for a decisive response, reminiscent of the 2019 Balakot air strikes following the Pulwama terror attack.
Soon after, Home Minister Amit Shah and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat met the Prime Minister at his residence, indicating the seriousness and unity of India’s leadership in this hour of crisis.
Initial investigations have pointed towards Pakistan-based terror outfit Lashkar-e-Taiba, with its proxy group, The Resistance Front, claiming responsibility. The government has already launched a diplomatic offensive — revoking visas for Pakistani nationals (excluding Hindus and long-term residents), including medical visas, leading to nearly 1,000 Pakistanis returning home since last week.
India has also placed the Indus Waters Treaty on hold — a major move that triggered angry reactions from Islamabad, with officials calling it an “act of war.” Pakistan, in turn, revoked all visas for Indian citizens and suspended key bilateral agreements like the Simla Agreement.
Defense Minister Khawaja Asif of Pakistan has warned of the potential for war, calling the coming days “crucial,” while India’s leadership continues to send a clear message: the nation will not rest until the masterminds behind the Pahalgam massacre are brought to justice.
“The time has come to raze whatever is left of the terror haven,” said PM Modi, echoing the sentiments of a grieving yet resolute nation. “The will of 140 crore Indians will crush the backbone of terror.”
