Tritiyaa Jewellery Co-Founder Exposed: Massive Fraud, Forgery & Criminal Deception

Hyderabad: In a shocking case of corporate betrayal, Jubilee Hills police have arrested 24-year-old Kanthidutt Thonangi, co-founder of Tritiyaa Fine Jewellery, on charges of fraud, forgery, and criminal breach of trust after allegedly deceiving his business partner and investors.

Fraudulent Takeover: Business Partner Cheated and Illegally Removed

Tippala Srija, co-founder of Tritiyaa Fine Jewellers Private Limited, has accused Kanthidutt of fraudulently removing her from the company. In June 2023, they launched the business together, and by August, she had invested ₹2.5 crore into its expansion. However, she later discovered that Kanthidutt had forged her signature on a resignation letter and unlawfully submitted it to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs without her knowledge.

To make matters worse, he reportedly staged a fake board meeting on the same day—without notifying her—and “approved” her resignation, effectively ousting her from the company. Suspecting foul play, Srija filed an RTI and obtained fraudulent copies of her resignation letter and board resolution. She stated, “It’s clear that my signature was forged, and there’s no way a legitimate board meeting could have taken place that quickly.”

A History of Deception: Linked to Multiple Fraud Cases & a Fatal Hit-and-Run

Kanthidutt’s criminal past paints an even darker picture. Police records reveal that he has four cases against him, including a fatal hit-and-run, under the Cyberabad and Hyderabad commissionerates. He is also linked to Dakshin Katha Hospitality and Naomi Patisserie & Bistro, both now under scrutiny for possible fraudulent activities.

In another case, businessmen Cilarapu Ramchander and Praveen Kumar have accused him of cheating them out of ₹6 crore. They claim he convinced them to invest in his ventures but later evaded their inquiries and used abusive language when confronted.

With multiple fraud allegations piling up, the police have arrested Kanthidutt and placed him under 14-day judicial custody.
