Tritiyaa Jewellery Co-Founder Trapped in Shocking Fraud & Forgery Scandal
Hyderabad: In yet another case of corporate fraud, Jubilee Hills police have arrested 24-year-old Kanthidutt Thonangi, co-founder of Tritiyaa Fine Jewellery, for allegedly deceiving his business partner, forging documents, and engaging in financial fraud.
Business Partner Betrayed & Illegally Removed
Tippala Srija, co-founder of Tritiyaa Fine Jewellers Private Limited, has accused Kanthidutt of fraudulently kicking her out of the company. The two launched the business in June 2023, and by August, she had invested ₹2.5 crore for expansion. However, she later discovered that Kanthidutt had forged her signature on a resignation letter and illegally submitted it to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs without her knowledge.
To make matters worse, he allegedly staged a fake board meeting on the same day—without notifying her—and “approved” her resignation, effectively cutting her out of the company. Suspicious of the proceedings, Srija filed an RTI and uncovered fabricated copies of her resignation letter and board resolution. She stated, “My signature was forged, and a board meeting could not have legally taken place that fast.”
A Trail of Crimes: Fraud, Cheating & Hit-and-Run
Kanthidutt’s criminal history is riddled with multiple allegations. Police records show that he has four cases against him, including a fatal hit-and-run, under the Cyberabad and Hyderabad commissionerates. He is also associated with Dakshin Katha Hospitality and Naomi Patisserie & Bistro, businesses now under scrutiny for financial irregularities.
In another shocking fraud case, businessmen Cilarapu Ramchander and Praveen Kumar have accused him of duping them out of ₹6 crore. They claim he lured them into investing in his ventures but later dodged their questions and resorted to abusive language when confronted.
With multiple fraud and criminal cases piling up, the police have arrested Kanthidutt and placed him under 14-day judicial custody.
