Tritiyaa Jewellery Co-Founder Caught in Fraud and Forgery Scandal

Hyderabad: Jubilee Hills police have arrested 24-year-old Kanthidutt Thonangi, co-founder of Tritiyaa Fine Jewellery, on serious charges of fraud, forgery, and breach of trust after allegedly deceiving his business partner.

Accused of Illegally Ousting Co-Founder

Tippala Srija, co-founder of Tritiyaa Fine Jewellers Private Limited, has accused Kanthidutt of fraudulently removing her from the company. The two started the business in June 2023, and in August, she invested ₹2.5 crore to expand it. However, she later discovered that Kanthidutt had allegedly forged her signature on a resignation letter and submitted it to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs without her knowledge.

Shockingly, on the same day, he reportedly conducted a board meeting—without informing her—and “approved” her resignation, cutting her out of the business. Suspecting foul play, Srija filed an RTI application and obtained fabricated copies of her resignation letter and board resolution. She stated, “It’s clear my signature was forged, and there was no way a board meeting took place that quickly.”

Multiple Criminal Cases Against Him

Kanthidutt is already entangled in other serious legal troubles. Police records reveal he has four cases against him, including a fatal hit-and-run, under the Cyberabad and Hyderabad commissionerates. He is also linked to Dakshin Katha Hospitality and Naomi Patisserie & Bistro.

Additionally, two businessmen, Cilarapu Ramchander and Praveen Kumar, have accused him of duping them out of ₹6 crore. They claim he convinced them to invest in his ventures but later dodged their inquiries and used abusive language when confronted.

With multiple complaints piling up, police arrested Kanthidutt and have placed him under 14-day judicial custody.
