Tragedy in Saharanpur: BJP Leader Shoots Wife and Children, Two Kids Killed

Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh – A horrifying incident unfolded in the Gangoh police station area, where BJP leader Yogesh Rohilla allegedly shot his wife and three children, leaving two of them dead. The victims included his 11-year-old daughter and his son, while his wife and another child are battling for their lives in the hospital.
According to police reports, Rohilla, who serves as a BJP executive member, was arrested at the scene, and the firearm used in the crime was recovered. Senior officials, including Saharanpur SSP Rohit Sajwan, rushed to the spot upon receiving the distressing news.
Authorities revealed that Rohilla suspected his wife of infidelity, which may have led to the violent act. “He shot his wife and three children over doubts about his wife’s character. Two children lost their lives on the spot, while the wife and another child are in critical condition at the Saharanpur district hospital,” SSP Sajwan stated.
It has been reported that Rohilla was under extreme mental stress for the past few days, though he never confided in his neighbors or acquaintances. The shocking crime has left Sangatheda village in a state of panic and sorrow.
Following the attack, Rohilla himself called the police to report the incident. He was immediately taken into custody, and authorities have launched a comprehensive investigation, including forensic analysis, to determine the exact sequence of events.
