Kerala YouTuber Arrested for Alleged Sexual Assault After Social Media Friendship

Kochi: A 25-year-old YouTuber has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman he befriended through social media, according to police. The arrest was made by the Kalamassery police following a complaint from the victim.

In her complaint, the woman alleged that the YouTuber assaulted her twice after threatening to share her private videos and photos on social media. He also threatened to send the images to her husband, as per the police statement.

Investigations revealed that the accused is reportedly involved in similar cases at multiple police stations. The YouTuber was presented before a local court and has been remanded to judicial custody.
