Man beaten to death by coworkers in Delhi’s Keshav Puram; arrested

The Delhi Police said they found the man’s body in a decomposed state with an Aadhaar Card in his hand. The Delhi Police said they have arrested two men for beating their “reel” partner and co-worker to death with a stick and hiding his body in a room in the Keshav Puram area.
According to the police, they received a PCR call on January 7 about a foul smell coming from a room in the Rampura area. “After reaching the spot, a decomposed body was recovered from the room with an Aadhaar Card in his hand. The name on the card was Golu,” said Bhisham Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North West).
The body was also identified by the deceased man’s sister, and the police registered a First Information Report (FIR) at the Keshav Puram police station. According to sources, the accused were identified as Ranjeet, 30, and Neeraj Verma, 23. “Golu and Ranjeet used to make reels together on Instagram. Golu, Ranjeet, and Neeraj worked in a tent house together and later in a footwear factory,” Singh said. The police said during interrogation Ranjeet and Neeraj told them that Golu used to verbally and physically abuse both the accused.
“On one occasion, Golu physically assaulted them, further intensifying their resentment. Harbouring deep anger and humiliation, the accused decided to take revenge for their insult, leading them to commit the murder of Golu,” said Singh.
