CHANDIGARH: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) dedication to national development and the empowerment of the poor and marginalized communities. Speaking on Thursday after a meeting with NDA chief ministers and deputy CMs in Chandigarh, Modi emphasized the coalition’s commitment to improving governance and enhancing the quality of life for all citizens.
The gathering followed the swearing-in ceremony of Haryana’s newly elected Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, and his cabinet members. PM Modi highlighted the importance of working together to build a stronger nation. “We had in-depth discussions about good governance and ways to better the lives of our people. The NDA is determined to push forward with national progress and uplift the poor and downtrodden,” he shared on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Key figures such as Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President J P Nadda were also present during the discussions. With a recent win in the Haryana assembly polls, the NDA is now gearing up for upcoming elections in Maharashtra and Jharkhand, aiming to replicate its success and continue its mission of national growth and social upliftment.
